• Implement half-hour sermon "talk backs" following worship to express and exchange thoughts and ideas generated from the sermon.

• Implement lay leadership training to conduct "talk back" sessions and informal discussion of sermons by lay leaders.

• Pastor(s) will make a special effort to interact more with the students and parents from the Children's Center.
• Examine interests, gifts and expectations of the congregation in order to meet their particular needs.
• Publicize to the local community the "Services of Healing and Wholeness" as well as other special services and liturgies

• Initiate a drama group giving presentations of "faith-based" productions.
• Provide regular communications to the diverse people in the area, person to person and in publications taking special note of writing/speaking in Spanish for the foreseeable growth in the Spanish speaking population in Concord.

• Invite children from pre-school classes to attend a Youth Sunday and share i.e. songs, art work, etc. with a special invitation to the parents.

Objectives (4-7 yrs)

• Initiate church family "buddies" with Children Center families through communication i.e. get well cards, birthday cards, etc.
