Christian Education

The new motto is, "If you plan it, they will come". Planning requires intention, concentration and work.

Goal #1: Maintain classes for all age groups with nursery care provided.

Objectives (1-3 yrs)

• Hold at least one special event a year for all age group.
• Hold seasonal special events for all ages/marital status i.e. single, singles with children, couples with children.

Objectives (4-7 yrs)

• Implement a midweek program for 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th graders.

Goal #2: Encourage the entire congregation to participate in some way in Christian Education.

Objectives (1-3 yrs)

• Develop lay leadership training for adult education.
• Conduct an annual teacher training workshop for Sunday School staff

Objectives (4-7 yrs)

• Fill the following positions:
  • Nursery Superintendent
  • Youth Director
  • Special Events Coordinator
  • Vacation Bible School Superintendent
• Develop and implement our own curriculum for Sunday School

Goal #3: Increase publicity within the community concerning our Christian Education program.

Objectives (1-3 yrs)

• Develop a C.E. file containing names, addresses, etc. and attendance forms to facilitate communication.
• Offer Vacation Bible School and advertise the event.
