CVPC MISSION STUDY REPORT
Congregational Care
Goal #1: Provide fellowship and/or study opportunities for all members.
Objectives (1-3 yrs)
- Continue the support groups and Bible study programs that currently exist.
- Plan more extensive adult education programs, topical programs, support groups, and small group communities.
Objectives (4-7 yrs)
- Expand the current groups and add new interest groups.
Goal #2: Discover ways to encourage younger families to become involved in the church.
Objectives (1-3 yrs)
- Provide child care for all adult-oriented events.
- Create ways to assist young families in becoming better acquainted.
- Develop a closer relationship with the families in the Children's Center.
- Facilitate a mentoring program between older church members and younger members
Objectives (4-7 yrs)
- Provide intergenerational activities and programs
- Initiate bi-monthly potluck suppers hosted by each of the major session committees.
